Sinus Infection

Monday, October 6, 2008

My husband has been walking around for days with a nasty sinus infection. Since he just hates going to the doctor, I am trying to find some type of home remedies that maybe he will try. I was just reading about a paste of cinnamon and water, or ginger with milk or water, or basil leaves mixed with cloves and dried ginger. It said when applied on the forehead it provides instant relief. I had never heard of any of these. Have you? I also found other home remedies like intake of ripe grape juice, having jalapeño peppers and warm tea. His symptoms seem to be more a long the lines of coughing rather than the headache pressure. He said it is like a tickle in the throat and chest. I am sure that is from drainage. I remember one time hearing about lemon juice and honey, but can't remember if this was for a sinus infection or not. If anyone knows of any good home remedy, I would appreciate you sharing!
